Cookie Policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things between pages or visits, and they help us understand how the site is used.

How we ask for your consent

When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. Until you choose, and if you reject them, we only use the cookies the site needs to work: one that remembers your selections and, if you add products to an enquiry, one that remembers that list. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, or the button below.

We do not use advertising or targeting cookies, and we do not sell or share information about your visit for advertising.

Google Analytics

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site, which pages they look at and how they found us. This helps us improve the site. Google processes this information on our behalf; you can read how in Google’s privacy policy. If you reject analytics cookies, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.

Content from other websites

  • Map – the map on our Contact Us page is a picture made from OpenStreetMap. Nothing is loaded from another site to show it.
  • YouTube – the video on our Latest News page only loads, from youtube-nocookie.com, if you click Play video. YouTube may then set its own cookies.
  • LIA membership badge – this badge is loaded from Yoshki (cdn.yoshki.com) to show that our Lighting Industry Association membership is current.
  • LinkedIn – our links to LinkedIn, and the Share on LinkedIn link on some pages, are ordinary links. LinkedIn only sets cookies if you go there.

Controlling cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, the site will still work, but it will ask for your cookie choice on every visit.
