Who We Are

Who we are

Z10 Safety has over 18 years of combined experience in the LED lighting industry. Our aim is to provide state-of-the-art emergency lighting solutions, as well as the customer care and quality service that demands.

At Z10 Safety, we fully recognise the outstanding importance of emergency lighting in fire-risk assessments and how critical it is to provide reliable and compliant emergency lighting systems. With our long experience working with LED technology, our strong background in electronics, a dynamic R&D team and with our own manufacturing facilities, we contribute significantly to making occupants safe in times of emergency.

Our main focus is to supply the market with a variety of remote-controlled, self-testing solutions. Our remote controls provide the person responsible for the emergency lighting with the means to check battery life and the self-testing status; and carry out functional and full duration tests without needing the use of a ladder or a cherry picker – a key health and safety issue. Moreover, it gives the possibility to programme exactly when the unit should carry out automatic tests, specifically at times of low risk on the premises.

Z10 Safety’s own-design circuit boards are engineered with the main aim of protecting the life of the most critical part of an emergency system: the battery. We use environmentally friendly lithium-ion (li-ion) batteries in all our core product ranges. As we use high-quality components, we are confident in offering up to 5-year warranty that covers the luminaire as well as the battery.

We are proud that the Laboratory of the Lighting Industry Association (LIA) has tested and certified our current product portfolio according to BS EN 60598-2-22 and has recognised Z10 Safety’s commitment in designing and producing quality products that are fully compliant with current national and international standards and legislation.

Our manufacturing facilities are ISO 9001 certified and located in Hangzhou, China. In the UK we operate from Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, where our office-based team will be happy to answer any questions regarding deliveries, stock availability, projects requirements, etc.

Our R&D team is constantly researching and keeps up to date with the latest technology, so follow us on LinkedIn for information on our next product launches, such as our wireless monitoring system that will send regular status reports automatically to the person responsible for the emergency lighting system.
